A Thing For Drinks

I’ve always imagined that in the world of Deadball, the end of the third inning is the drinks break. Drinks of all kind are discounted throughout the ballpark and there’s an extra few minutes before the start of the fourth, allowing fans—and why not, players too!—to quench their thirsts. In real life, this means that the end of the third is when I’ll take a quick break to get something to drink. At night it might be bourbon. During the day, it’s coffee or tea. I’ve always wanted a Deadball mug to use during the drinks break. Now I have one. Now you can too.
